Another Notion template, another ‘productivity tool’ yes!
Honestly blows my mind how well these do even though nobody consistently uses them, least nobody I know.
Either have Goggins level discipline or a ‘I’ll try that out’ then forgot tomorrow.
Both things I want to avoid for you & me, should be easy.
Little update for you:
Been over on X growing a cult {not really but love all the new people I’ve meet} whom I kidding I love writing here too.
Over the past year I’ve found what some call ‘your obsession’
->Why do we make the decisions we do and how to make it so easy to change a 70 year old could do it.
It’s forced me to dive deep into:
- Psychology
- Physics
- Philosophy
- Spirituality
- Probability
- Habits
- Authenticity
- Writing
- AI
Some say ‘polymath’ I say curious dude, either way I either can’t stop thinking about them or I want to learn more right this second.
Last year {if you didn’t know} after starting a YouTube channel on overcoming fears after what 5 months
I realized it was never about the ‘fear’ it was about why people didn’t want to change.
Could be a lot of things, maybe comfort maybe scared of AI I don’t know.
Back to the post:
To understand change I go back to this
The 5 stages of change {transtheoretical model of change}:
- Pre-contemplation
- Contemplation
- Preparation
- Action
- Maintenance
Everyone goes through the stages either all at once or one by one.
I’ve seen people that very much know when they’re not where they want to be yet continue, stay frustrated.
Could be perfectionism, could be procrastination doesn’t matter.
I wanna show that ‘change’ ain’t this freaky thing, actually chill.
The Experiment
Over the last 4 days I’ve be running an experiment
I love that s**t {do it all the time on X}
Here’s the prompt I’ve used track it all {Using ChatGPT}:
1. What I decided:
[Insert decision]
(e.g., “I chose to rewrite my landing page instead of recording the video I planned.”)
2. Why I made it:
What felt urgent, real, or emotional in that moment?
3. Real talk:
[Brutally honest, bias-aware, high-IQ insight that reveals truth, calls out bs, and reinforces the right mental model almost like a mentor type]
(e.g., “This felt productive, but it was just another dopamine detour away from doing the scary thing that actually builds leverage.”)
4. One tweak for next time:
What would the sharper version of me do differently next time?
Feel free to change it around however you want.
Also if you’re interested in how AI works I made this google doc a while back if you wanna get techy {gonna be updating with AI agent info soon} -> Gen AI Masterclass
What’s Next?
“When something bad happens you have three choices. You can either let it define you, let it destroy you, or you can let it strengthen you.” —Dr. Seuss
Decisions don’t just stop your making a decision right now to read this all the way through.
Since you’re still reading this it could only mean
You know indecision has been slowing you down and you’re tired of it, same
- Paradox of choice
- Not scaling
- Constantly bouncing new ideas
- Never researching
I’m not a life coach whose gonna tell you some feel good thing {only sometimes}.
The prompt, the content all meant to be a decision engine built to help creators and solopreneurs:
- Move 3X faster
- Make decisions with clarity
- Break hesitation
- And build insane momentum without burning out
If that sounds like you -> book a free Momentum Mapping Call here
If not start with the prompt. Use it for 2,3,4 days or even 1 day & watch what changes.
Short summary of everything
Just in case you don’t wanna read the whole thing:
- Most productivity ‘tools’ or ‘hacks’ don’t stick – Try the latest Notion template or system, but without deep change, they fall off.
- Change starts with clarity, not hacks – Creators, founders need to understand the why behind their decisions so they build momentum that lasts.
- The 4-question experiment / prompt – What I decided, Why I made it, Real talk (truth check), and One tweak for next time.
- Momentum engine – If you’re tired of indecision, burnout, the goal is to help you move 3X faster with clarity while being chill.
Till next time stay hungry.
